Meijer, a supermarket chain with more than 500 stores across Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and Wisconsin, confirmed to Supermarket News that it plans to expand into Western Pennsylvania. The company has begun purchasing land although it has not shared details on locations or timing.
