Plymouth Meeting, June 20, 2019 – The agents and staff at Equity CRE took a break from real estate for a few hours last Friday to volunteer for Cradles to Crayons in Philadelphia. Cradles to Crayons is a nonprofit organization that provides children from birth to age 12 living in homeless or low-income situations with the essential items they need at home, at school and at play.
After creating back-to-school greeting cards that children will receive as they start school again this fall, Equity Retail’s volunteers spent the next couple hours assembling care packages that included clothing, shoes, books, school supplies, and toys. The care packages were ready to be picked up that day by organizations throughout Philadelphia that directly serve kids in need.
“As a successful company headquartered in Greater Philadelphia, it’s our responsibility to lend a hand to great organizations like Cradles to Crayons,” said David Goodman, a Principal at Equity CRE. “The reality is that helping other people enhances our lives as well, and I’m proud that we have agents and employees that feel the same way.”
